Jersey Society of Artists
The Jersey Society of Artists is a thriving art society which has been
going for 60 years. We now have a permanent Studio in the Community Centre
next to the Parish Hall. We are amateurs who paint for enjoyment and we aim to encourage
local artistic talent and have several sessions each week including Life and Portrait (with models)
and Still Life plus own Projects. Members paint in all media - watercolour, acrylic and oil, or just enjoy drawing.
We have a Print machine and are hoping to set up sessions if we get sufficient interest.
Likewise we are planning on holding Tuesday evening sessions if there is demand.
This we hope would be helpful to parishioners who work, together with our Saturday morning sessions.
We are having a new exhibition at Jersey Pearl from Saturday October 2nd. to
Sunday October 10th, 10am -4pm, so come along, see our work and meet us.

Vanessa Williams Counselling
Emotional / Mental Health Support
I am a qualified counsellor and registered member of the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP), the UK’s leading body for talking therapies.
I work therapeutically, one to one, with adults and young people (aged 16 years and over). I hold a current enhanced DBS certificate and am trained in safeguarding.
At certain points in our lives, having the opportunity to explore how we are feeling, what we are thinking or something which has happened, may give clarity and meaning
to our experience and this can be helpful in moving forward. The themes I work with (but not exclusively) include anxiety, depression, abuse, anger management,
low self-esteem, trauma, relationship and family issues, self-harming behaviour, suicidal thoughts, loss, health issues.
If you would like to find out more about counselling, my availability, and fees, please feel welcome to contact me by email or phone.
